I am a middle school learning disabilites teacher.  I have grown up around race tracks.  My dad was a stock car racer and later a pit crew chief in local tracks.  My brother- in- law  was a drag racer and lately has been racing lawn mowers.  I have followed Nascar racing through the Winston series, the nextel,and now the sprint.  I have followed many drivers and my favorites change but for the most part my favorite driver has been Tony Stewart since he joined the cup ranks.  I have never seen a Nascar race but have seen a couple of the tracks during "off race" time.  I have had the priviledge of meeting a  couple of Nascar drivers in person which has left me in awe.  I welcome any new friends.  I will warn you at times, my students, a group of about 10 of them are true blue followers of Tony's and when they hear me talking about something someone has shared with me about meeting Tony, or something he may have done, they instantly want to meet these people too, so at times you may get a message through me from the "Stewart kiddos' as they have dubbed themselves.  They are harmless, but they love their man.
